  • The Three Rules of Good with Collin White-Pedeaux
How well should we treat our clients? As well as we want to be treated? As well as they want to be treated? In accordance with the highest good possible? How do we define "Good" anyway, and when do we just need to mind our biases?
Rhys and Josh team up with Collin White-Pedeaux for a lively discussion about philosophical concepts that have direct implications for our everyday clinical encounters. We discuss the age old Golden Rule, the more client centered Platinum Rule, and the very interesting Titanium Rule as we endeavor to determine just what is "Good" for our clients.
Let us know what you think with comments and reviews! Let's keep the conversation going!

  • Telehealth with Robin Clarke
Can effective counseling be done online? Should counseling be done online? A growing number of highly qualified clinicians believe Yes and Yes, for a certain range of presenting problems. There are of course concerns and considerations, but for each there is a reasonable contingency.
Still skeptical? Rhys Pasimio and Joshua Moore sat down with Robin Clarke to learn all the basics of ethics, HIPPA, safety, technology, inter-state licensure concerns, and even aesthetic considerations in providing Telehealth counseling. Rhys started the conversation very openly skeptical, with Joshua starting out much more comfortable with the idea. Together with Robin, they went on a journey of learning and enlightenment, and everyone came away with an expanded understanding.
