Y'all remember VH1's Divas Live! concerts? Well, if I have my choice, here is what we would have gotten - a little Mary J. Blige, some Gladys Knight, Brandy and Mariah.

Movies in the 90s provided us with some of the best music. Of course there are the usual suspects of Boomerang, The Best Man, Sister Act II and A Thin Line Between Love and Hate. However, the Speed 2 soundtrack had a sleeper with a Betty Wright remake.

If you can't love me like a 90s R&B song, I don't need it! The men of LSG, Babyface and Brian McKnight bless us for this mix. Grab your boo and get close for this one.

The 90s like all other eras produced a number of "One Hitter Quitters." For this mix Rome, Gina Thompson, Nicole Ray and Uncle Sam provide the soundtrack.

R&B groups of the 90s are my favs. This episode, I share some of my all-time favorite songs from 112, 702, Blackstreet, Dru Hill and Total.

Some of the most memorable music from the 90s was inspired by jazz. In fact, Guru made a whole series of albums called "Jazzmataz." Digable Planets, A Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock and CL Smooth joined him in finding inspiration in the genre.

My favorite artists of the 1990s were girl groups and here are several of my faves including TLC, SWV, Brownstone and Jade.
