  • Keep Going
Trying to make work, in whatever form, when you can't see what path to follow is difficult. Debilitating might be a better word. So, should we support a culture telling you what path to take or give you the freedom to choose?

    Producer: Alexander Charles Adams

    Editor: Laine Farber

Featuring the voice of Samantha Kennedy and archival sound

  • Hi *From* Mattie
Last year, we created a piece called Hi, I'm Mattie which delved into the abuse Matthew Cavan received after going public with his HIV status in Northern Ireland. The creation of the piece was slow and difficult over the course of three months while our producer Alexander worked on a larger installation about people living with HIV in Northern Ireland for the Outburst Arts festival called GLRY. In this interview, we talk about what Hi, I'm Mattie means to Matthew a year later.

  • You Just Missed Me
Call Me When You Get This, Love You.

    Audio Production/Conception: Alexander Charles Adams

Special Thanks: Those who left voicemails for us to work with.

Over the course of four years, our creator Alexander saved all their voicemails knowing one day there would be some way to tell a story. This piece is the story that came from moving around voicemails like puzzle pieces. The voicemails themselves are entirely real and completely intact, aside from the redaction of phone numbers and personal information. The only real editing is the order in which the voicemails are presented. These range from voicemails recieved in the Fall of 2013 to only two weeks ago (from original release).

  • Digital Kissing Booth 2.0
Last year, we heard about Lainey's first, good kiss. But what about the other side? Who is "Ryan Burkman"? Was the kiss really that good? Finally, did Lainey really tear her ACL or is she a big phoney? Well, in Smash/Cut's Season 2 premiere, all questions are answered.
