This week’s whiskey comes to us from Oregon Spirit Distillers in Bend, Oregon! Their Straight American Bourbon is made from local and regionally sourced grain, and is probably the first of our whiskies to point out that theirs is organic.  Listen in to find out if their commitment to the flavor of this whiskey is as strong as their commitment to local agriculture.

This week, we’re trying our second Japanese whiskey - Akashi Blended Whiskey. White Oak Distillery, located on the coast of Akashi city, was one of the first pioneers to venture into whiskey making.
