Having a conversation about cancer is difficult with any one at any time. Talking to children about the life-threatening disease can be especially hard. York native Brady Lucas knows about cancer firsthand. Brady was diagnosed with cancer twice as a child. As a healthy survivor, Brady Lucas has written a children’s book called Smiley’s Smile – the story of a turtle who was diagnosed and treated for cancer. Brady Lucas is with us on The Spark.
