Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is warning that Prime Minister Mark Carney’s newly unveiled cabinet signals a continuation of Ottawa’s anti-resource agenda.
She also called on new Environment Minister Julie Dabrusin to reject misleading claims made by her predecessor, Steven Guilbeault, about pipeline capacity and oil demand. She said Guilbeault’s recent remarks were “misleading and destructive.”
The Alberta Prosperity Project, an Alberta pro-independence group, revealed the official wording of its proposed separation referendum:
“Do you agree that the province of Alberta shall become a Sovereign Country and cease to be a province of Canada?”
