At the Smoke-Onos cigar festival in the Poconos, Walt walked up to Michael Herklots standing alone in his booth, and the first thing out of Herklots' mouth was that Walt was at a cigar festival without a cigar and that needed to be fixed. Thirty seconds later, a Timeless Supreme was cut and lit.
Episode 048 is the full Smoke-Onos debrief. Walt, Eddie, and Eric break down how the festival actually works, how it compares to the old Cigarfest format, the swag that genuinely surprised everyone, and the shortcut through the woods that turned out to be not much of a shortcut. Abe Flores, West Tampa Tobacco Co., Black Label Trading Co., Octane Cigars, and the Dunbarton Red Meat Lovers all come up. So does an Outcast by Miami Cigar Co. with a sugar cap and Cavendish pipe tobacco that Eric had no idea about when he lit it - and liked more than he expected.
