Takeaway: Use your occupation for the proclamation of the Gospel.

1st realization- God gives us platforms to advance the Gospel-v.1-4.

2nd realization- We must never allow opposition to stop us from our mission- v.5-6.

3rd realization- When we stay on mission, we will find fulfillment in fulfilling the Great Commission-v.7-8.

4th realization- Even in our fear, God is near and protects us so that others might hear- v.9-11.

Takeaway: When we serve God faithfully, He will move no matter our situation.

1st truth- Salvation leads to serving- 16:11-15.

2nd truth- Serving Jesus leads to spiritual warfare- v.16-18a.

4th truth- Spreading the gospel comes at a price-v.19-24.

5th truth- Singing to God can lead to a move of God no matter our situation-v.25-34.

Takeaway: Following the Holy Spirit is the key to advancing the gospel.

The acts of the Holy Spirit:

1st act- The Holy Spirit will lead us to set apart witnesses to carry the gospel to those who have not heard- v.1-3.

2nd act- The Holy Spirit will send us out to proclaim the gospel- v.4-5.

3rd act- The Holy Spirit will empower us when we encounter opposition to the gospel- v.9-12.

4th act- The Holy Spirit will bear witness of Christ to the lost when we preach the gospel- v.13-41.

5th act- The Holy Spirit will provide others with the opportunity to hear the gospel- v.42-52.

3rd lesson- When God's up to something and calls you to take part, you can trust Him no matter what His command might be-v.10-18.

4th lesson- Where God guides, He provides-v.19-31.
