(01:02:12) In cigar news, the cigar industry and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration will meet in virtual federal court tomorrow afternoon to discuss FDA’s plans to defer premium cigar product approval and the upcoming Sept. 8 deadline for product approval. Premium cigars scored a victory on Tuesday as they, along with pipe tobacco, were removed from SB 793, a bill in California seeking to ban the sale of flavored tobacco products.

Day 8 of the Cigarheadz Xtravaganza which also marks the final day of the Xtravaganza. Thank you to everyone who listened and enjoyed the special event. We get into a discussion about the collaboration with Caldwell Cigars. Matt gives us his thoughts on the FDA conundrum. We find out what Matt has planned for in place of PCA being cancelled. In cigar news (01:22:42) PCA announced on July 1 that they will be furloughing during these trying times. The Crowned Heads have a new release coming out in August. Finally, as of July 1 the state of Virginia has doubled their tax rate on cigars.
