Last time I suggested that you make sure that your blog is easy to navigate and there are pages dedicated to who you are as an author, what a reader can find on your blog, a book page including reviews and buy links and menus for the main  categories on your blog.

Today I am going to talk about ‘branding’. Whilst major industries and shopping chains do this as part of their business plan, and you may think that as an author you don’t need to include this as part of your marketing, all of your online presence needs to be in sync. For example your Amazon author page, blog, social media should have the same author profile photograph.

As I mentioned last time there are 60 million or so other bloggers who share the same space with you, and 20,000 new ebooks uploaded to Amazon each week, vying for readers. A consistent message will help you stand out from the crowd.

In this collection, images and syllabic poetry are brought together to tell a story based on the author’s perspective. The poetry explores our human experiences such as love, happiness, hope, aging, friendship, new beginnings, dreams and loss.
