OK first of all, this episode fucking rules ( I know I always say that but I mean it). Second of all, I have never had a guest that I have agreed on more specific food tastes with and for that, I am now in love with her. I got to have award winning writer, producer, comedian, & "foodie" (kill me) Alison Leiby on Snack Time to talk about her fave childhood snack - Cheddar Goldfish!
We play 2 Truths and a Lie to dive into the origins of this snack -which are as cute as the little fishies, themselves! We also talk about the often slept on PLAIN Goldfish - which is the GOAT (FIGHT ME). We both agree that Pumpkin pie is stupid and then play 3 rounds of Fuck Marry Kill Poly with some cute themed categories.
Overall 15/10 would recommend listening to this!!!!

I asked dear friend and comedian, Will Miles (Comedy Central, South Side, Chris Gethard, etc) what his favorite childhood snack was and then he said what is actually a meal (New England Clam Chowder & Grilled Cheese). HOWEVER, it is a very very solid ass meal (the New England part being key). On top of his favorite childhood snacks, we also dive into what he feeds his adorable daughter. I also learn that most of my guests are latchkey kids and it leads to really gorgeous independent snacking (imo).
We play 2 Truths and a Lie to dive deeper into the history of these snacks (spoiler: a grilled cheese sandwich used to be called a "cheese dream") and then go into several rounds of Fuck Marry Kill Poly - which includes a Chicago treats round!!

HANNAH EINBINDER IS FUCKING BACK, BABY!!! Happy Halloween you little weenies and welcome to the ultimate Halloween Candy episode of Snack Time. I brought back Hannah because she basically BEGGED me to be on my show after she was nominated for an Emmy for Hacks on HBO (and it's the least I can do). She's the perfect person to talk about Halloween Candy with and we go off about faves such as Jolly Ranchers, Twix, Dots (me), and CANDY CORN (controversy).
We argue about citrus flavors and then Hannah gifts me an ice cream recipe book mid-podcast which is the overall vibe of this episode. We obviously play Fuck Marry Kill Poly - Hannah being the originator of adding Poly to the mix and I talked a lot about Dots and then proceeded to break my dental crown on one the same day we recorded this. God bless America! For real though, Hannah is a fucking gem of a human and this episode is so much fun.

Damn, I have really lost it. I had a guest cancel on me last minute and was like, you. know who would be the perfect guest???? MY BOYFRIEND (who I married last week btw, which is why this is kind of a filler - bUT GREAT - episode). When he said "no", I said - "no worries, I got this" and here we are. An episode where I figure out a way to ramble on for almost 30 minutes about my cat and the snacks she likes to eat.
In this episode you can expect Sugarbear meowing, things you never wanted to know about cat snacks, disgusting cat licking sounds, me having a meltdown, and OF COURSE - Fuck, Marry, Kill, Poly!! If you're wondering how I accomplished to play this game with a cat, you will just have to listen!

I honestly can't believe it took THIS LONG for someone to choose Cool Ranch Doritos as their favorite childhood snack but thank god for comedian & writer, Eliza Skinner (Earth to Ned, Late Late Show). She joins me on the pod to talk about her experience with what I consider to be one of the most epically coveted and lunch room traded snacks that exist. All my shit talking about plain Lays Potato chips comes back to haunt me in this episode where who I THOUGHT was my friend - Steve Hernandez (Comedy Central, Audible, Read the Bible with Me) names this devil chip as his favorite childhood snack. The only thing that makes it less evil is that he also includes an onion dip in the snack (Laura Scudder's to be specific). I challenge him to 2 Truths and a Lie to see if he knows the facts about his beloved snack while I ate low calorie ice cream that made me shit my pants.
