Winter weather advisories go into effect Thursday across a swath of Minnesota from Moorhead and Morris south and east to Brainerd, Saint Cloud, the Twin Cities and Rochester.

And members of the Minneapolis City Council signaled Thursday that they are open to changes in its new rideshare driver pay ordinance. However, they are not backing down from their push to boost wages for drivers.
