We discuss her career highlights & personal stories from The Golden Girls as well a peek into the little known cartoon spin off that almost got made during the show's original run!

I'm joined by Michelle who has a top secret project about Golden Girls, although I know what it is & we discussed Golden Girls writer Winifred Hervey & her impact on the development of the characters & their stories, specifically Dorothy's. Back by popular demand, we review another episode while being Pothead with Stan. (Big News, tear out the front page!)

In this episode we discuss season 1, episode 24, "Big Daddy". This is the first time we meet Blanche's old fashioned southern (aka racist) father as he comes to town to announce that he is becoming a singer. Meanwhile Sophia puts a curse on their neighbor that we've never heard of before & never hear of again as Blanche leaves her tenants to deal with her property damage.

We’re joined by Hollywood legend, Alyson Fouse to discuss the return of her show “Act Your Age” which is being called “The New Golden Girls but with melanin”. We also discuss the importance of writers & why the WGA strike is so important!

Act Your Age stars Kym Whitley, Tisha Campbell & Yvette Nicole Brown as 3 friends sharing a home together in their next chapter of their lives now that they have no kids or husbands at home & can just focus on enjoying what life has to offer.

Basically they’re who Lorraine’s mother & aunt would be in 2023!

New episodes premiere on Bounce June 3rd at 7/8c!

We’re joined by our loyal listener & image consultant Jessica to talk about how they dealt with the topic of having someone developmentally challenged in your family & how Blanche responded.
