We unpack episode 11 of The Golden Girls Spin off, The Golden Palace “The camp town races aren’t neatly as fun as they used to be”, where Blanche invites a racially insensitive group to stay at the hotel causing Roland to quit after she refuses to take his concerns seriously. Meanwhile Rose becomes obsessed with their guests marital statuses.

In discussing this we ended up having a more in-depth (& long) conversation about race relations in general & how to better educate & understand one another & ourselves!

We (attempt to) review the Golden Girls episode, “The Artist” (s3 ep13) while being pothead. Unfortunately little Lamar/Roger joined us which delayed her being able to join, but it certainly didn’t stop me! If you were able to make it through the end & can actually follow the conversation, please let me know @SoGoodWeNamedIt

In this episode, the girls all pose nude for an artist & all hope to take their relationships with him to the next level! Meanwhile Sophia fucks with Dorothy.

In our first show that we've recorded since Kay gave birth, we review episode 7x19, “Journey to the center of attention” where we finally see the Rusty Anchor & just how popular Blanche is with its patrons. That is until Dorothy becomes the breakout star with her singing causing Blanche to become jealous. Meanwhile, Sophia decides to give herself a wake while she is still alive.

We also unpack more of Blanche’s trauma & perhaps a bit of our own! Including Kay’s story of how she gave birth in a rather non traditional set up that was not quite a Laura Ashley Showroom!
