Carol Goodman, also known under the pseudonym Juliet Dark, is an American professor and author of gothic fiction. She has also written under the pseudonym Lee Carroll with her husband Lee Slonimsky. Goodman currently serves as a creative writing professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Caroline Taylor is the author of four mystery novels and a nonfiction book. Her short stories are listed at www.carolinestories.com. A collection of those stories, Enough! Thirty Stories of Fielding Life's Curve Balls, was published in 2018. She is a member of the North Carolina Writers' Network, Sisters in Crime, and Mystery Writers of America. A long-time resident of the District of Columbia, she now lives in North Carolina.

Darryl Wimberley is a native Floridian. After high school, he entered the Air Force Academy in Colorado, graduating with a B.S. in International Affairs. While still on active duty, he attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, and received an M.A. in English literature. He then earned a doctorate of philosophy from the Radio-Television-Film department at the University of Texas at Austin. Wimberley lives in Austin, Texas.
