It's the final episode of season TWO! How on Earth has this happened? It's been a wild ride of a first year of the podcast and I couldn't thank you all enough. Alipate played 153 games for Port Adelaide Power since commencing his career with the Power in 2006 and has been a Power loyaltist since day dot. Now, Alipate is working as the Multicultural Programs Manager at Port Adelaide Football Club and has a wealth of knowledge about leadership and mentoring, how his identity has developed over his career and how his team completely flipped their culture on it's head to produce some incredible seasons.

Why on earth are there two names in the title? That's right, we have double the guest speakers on today's episode! Let's welcome 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic figure skater, Cheltzie Lee and 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic freestyle skier in mogul skiing, Sam Hall. Apart from the fact that these two have some incredible sporting achievements under their belt, they also MET through sport and so I thought what better way to share their transitions out of sport than with each other. Suzy now runs Hitting Targets, a gun club in NSW introducing people to clay shooting. She is also a mentor in the Gold Medal Ready program under the Australian Institute of Sport, getting Australian athletes ready for Tokyo 2020/21 and an Olympians Unleashed Speaker at the Australian Olympic Committee, talking to year 9’s about setting career and sporting goals.

Welcome to another episode of So, what's next? This week i'm incredibly excited to bring to you three-time world title holder, Jeff Fenech.

Holding a world title across three weight divisions, bantamweight, super bantamweight and featherweight, Jeff was trained by Johnny Lewis and is recognised as one of the best boxers Australia has ever had.

Jeff was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2002, Australian National Boxing Hall of Fame Moderns category in 2003, and was elevated further to Legend status in 2013 and was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1986. Jeff competed at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics before turning to professional boxing where he had 33 fights, winning 29, 21 by knockout, lost three and drew one.

Hi friends! On today's episode of So, what's next? we're jumping straight into the halfpipe with Steph Magiros. Steph made it to the semi-finals of the half pipe at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, placing 18th overall. Steph is now a qualified yoga teacher, two time Australian Ninja Warrior contestant and just an all-round enthusiastic and optimistic person. This chat with Steph covers Steph's wild ride from gymnast, to Olympic snowboarder, back to elite level gymnast and her amazing drive to achieve her dreams of making it to an olympics. Welcome back to SEASON TWO of So, what's next? I'm absolutely blown away by the support that you all gave during season one and we're back for an even bigger and better season two! On today's episode we have the trailblazer that is Nova Peris.

Nova Peris is a descendant of the Gija people of East Kimberley and the Yawuru people of West Kimberley; the Muran Clan Iwatja people of West Arnhem Land, and is an incredibly successful woman in both sports and politics.

Nova is a two-time Olympian, competing in two different Summer Olympic sports. First, Nova, as part of the Hockeyroos team won gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic and became the first Indigenous Australian to win an Olympic gold. Nova then competed in athletics in at the 2000 Sydney Olympics reaching semi-finals of the 400m sprint and fifth in the 4x100m relay. Post-sport, Nova was elected to the Australian senate as a senator for the Northern Territory at the 2013 federal election as Julia Gillard’s named ‘captain’s pick’. This made Nova Australia’s first Indigenous woman elected to federal parliament.

It's the final episode of SEASON ONE of So, what's next? I can't believe it! On today's episode we have the delightful former Australian sprint swimmer, Eamon Sullivan. Eamon competed at the Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Olympic Games and is a three time Olympic medalist. Eamon has also broken two world records and since his retirement from swimming has gone on to win the first series of Celebrity MasterChef Australia in 2009 and opened Bib and Tucker in North Fremantle, May Street Larder in East Fremantle, Goody Two’s, Japanese whiskey bar in Perth CBD and Pogo Restaurant and Sammy’s Restaurant in Mount Hawthorn. Eamon actually joins us for this episode from Pogo’s!

Welcome back, welcome back! On today's episode of So, what's next?, we're chatting to the incredible, Kim Mickle. Kim is an Australian track and field athlete competing in Javelin. She held the Australian record for a throw of 66.83m until 2018 and has a number of achievements under her belt including first place at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Silver at the 2013 World Championships and qualifying to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics. Kim then moved into the world of AFLW with the Fremantle Football Club.

Kim is the epitome of cup-half-full in this episode as we cover her experiences in individual and team sports, multiple injuries and life lessons she's picked up along the way!
