      3. Ep. 32 | Growth in Motherhood with Megan Caldwell - Throwback

Hi everyone! Welcome to the So You Had a Baby podcast, episode 32. This week we decided to replay one of our most popular episodes, Growth in Motherhood with Megan Caldwell. Megan is a powerhouse in every sense of the word, and we are just so excited to share her interview with you guys again.

Of course, we wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving and we will meet you back right here in a couple of weeks with a new episode. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this throwback with Megan Caldwell.

        ---

Nikki: Hey guys! Welcome to the So You Had a Baby Podcast, Ep. 08. In today’s episode, we will be interviewing Megan Caldwell. Megan Caldwell is mom to three busy kiddos (Connor 8, Cameron 5.5 and Charley Jeanne age 3.) She is wife to Bo and owns and operates FIT4MOM Cedar Mill in NW & NE Portland, offering pre & post natal fitness classes, as well as community events and support for moms in ALL stages of motherhood.  As a collegiate athlete with a background in education, leading FIT4MOM programs and helping moms find strength in motherhood combines three of her biggest passions - educating others, staying active and spending time with her children.  When she not busy in her business, Megan enjoys running, coffee dates (or wine dates!) with girlfriends, and spending time outside with her family.

Krista: You guys, we just loved this episode for so many reasons. Megan and Fit4Mom were such a huge blessing in both of our postpartum and it meant so much that we got to hear her story and we cant wait for you to hear it as well.

      6. Ep. 29 | Postpartum Body Changes Series - Part One: Stretch Marks

Krista: Hello and welcome back to the So You Had a Baby Podcast, Episode 29! We all know that there is a lot of change that happens in our body during pregnancy and after giving birth. These changes can affect us physically and emotionally as we transition into motherhood, and because of that, we thought it would be appropriate to start a short series on postpartum body changes.

Nikki: In this series we will discuss specific body changes in depth as well as share our personal experiences with them, and today, we’re kicking it off with a body change that most of us are all too familiar with - stretch marks. We hope you enjoy part one of this series.

Nkiru: Hi everyone, Welcome back to the So You Had a Baby podcast episode 26! Before we get started with today’s episode, we wanted to share a sweet review from one of our listeners, jordandiane26. She says, “Listening to this podcast has been so helpful for me as I prepare for my journey into motherhood. I have found each episode to be so helpful in offering many perspectives on the postpartum period. I also very much appreciate the focus on positivity and giving yourself grace! I would recommend anyone who is pregnant, wanting to become pregnant, and especially those who already have kids to take a listen!”

Nkiru: Lauren Woodworth and Chandler Lettin were introduced by a mutual friend in 2015 when they were living parallel lives, both pregnant and in the throes of enormous home remodeling projects. After having their babies and the dust had settled, literally, Lauren and Chandler began seriously discussing what it would take to start a company together. Fast forward three years later in March 2019, the two ladies officially launched AVYN, an athletic nursing bra company. The way they put it is, “Together they are tackling this business venture the way they tackle motherhood- figuring it out as they go, making mistakes, and having fun in the process.”

Krista: We had so much fun talking to Lauren and Chandler today. Their postpartum journeys were so different and they both shared such wonderful perspective and advise that I know all mamas listening will find value in. Also,  I personally loved their mom hacks and can't wait for you to hear them! As if that wasn't enough, they created such an amazing product that you definitely need and we know you will love. We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!
