Fifteen years after High Summoner Gandof brought peace to Spira, the city of Avalon prepares to celebrate. Illaria, a summoner hailing from Bevelle, arrives alongside her guardian, Karigan. Meanwhile, chocobo ranchers Minsun and Ramiro travel to town eyeing a lucrative deal with a local Merchant King. Joined by fate on the eve of tragedy, both pairs soak in the quiet moments of the festival—unaware that the life they know is about to change forever.
