Kevin Pregitzer is down to earth, well mannered, an dedicated to traditions in tattooing and it comes through in in his large, well executed and timeless Japanese tattoo designs. He works out of Homestead Tattoo in Calgary.

From immigrant in the Arctic to working beside some of Canada's greatest tattooers, Piotr is a tattooer you may have never heard about, but he is a legend. In this episode Piotr shares his origin story, living in the arctic, stumbling into tattooing, and a too good to be true story about getting away from the cops....it's true, I was there!

Rob has a reputation as an internationally recognized tattoo powerhouse and all around nice guy. Shawn and Dave catch up with an old friend, talk life, art, tattoo friends, and all things that matter to an accomplished but down to earth tattooer. This is a long one. Grab a coffee and maybe put the dog out, this one got away from us.

We took the Podcast on the road! Shawn and I took the circus to Edmonton for The Edmonton Tattoo Convention that was held April 21-23.  Great turn out of hard working artists.  Many artists were interviewed. The talent at the show was great! Steve Peace put on another successful show and by all accounts everyone was busy the whole weekend. Things are popping off in Edmonton! This is a tattoocentric city, put it on your list of conventions to attend. Champion Tattoo in Sherwood Park was gracious enough to host me.  Check them out on the IG at @championtattoo.

Jessica Wright is all the best things about tattooing; professional, hardworking, compassionate, and honest. Her approach to the craft is nothing less than admirable. We talk mentorship, history, what it takes to excel and her undying love of the craft. She owns Capital Tattoo in Edmonton, Canada, the shop she apprenticed in. To say she is a cornerstone in the local tattoo scene would grossly understate her contribution to tattooing. Stoked to throw a little bit of light on this inspiring and hardworking artist.

Damian Robertson is a quiet force in tattooing. His calm demeanour betrays a fire that drives him. Some have described him as intense while others see a man focused on excellence and self mastery.
