Sober World of Sports Wrestling Podcast

Episode 10 is a doozy! We have a special guest with us, just recorded shortly after Mikey's 25th birthday.

With our guest, we discuss certain topics such as: Thermites, The Craft, McMahon, Thermites, Schweppes, 80's TV shows, and of course, Thermites!

Episode 9 of DDT finally covers one of our favorite animes: Kinnikuman!

We go over the basics of the show; it's history, the plot, the characters, etc. We also talk about our little Round Robin Street Fighter V tournament that occurred before recording.

Episode 8 of Dramatic Drunk Team celebrates the indie days of recent retired wrestler Bryan Danielson!

In this long episode, we talk about our weekend, the story of Gizmo, Bryan's life and career in wrestling, up until his WWE days. Joey and Mikey discuss first seeing him at Ring of Honor shows in NYC, along with their memories of the shows, while Manny struggles to stay awake.

Welcome to a short segment we call: "What Do You Think of?" In this segment, we get an opinion of John Cena and other things from his biggest fan.... Joey and I's father!

Dramatic Drunk Team welcomes you to Episode 1 of Enter the Drunken Gate. Inside the Drunken Gate, we discuss the basics of other Japanese wrestling promotions, outside of New Japan Pro Wrestling, and discuss recent shows and wrestlers of the other promotions.

Recorded right after the Podcast del Mal episode (shitty audio still present), we debate who we would choose to represent our 1992 Dream Team.

Audio quality sucks, I know. It'll be fixed for later episodes. :)

Episode 07 of Dramatic Drunk Team takes a break from The Land of the Rising Sun, and we talk about the late, great, El Hijo del Perro Aguayo!

Before that, we briefly discuss our top 5 wrestlers and tell a story of Survivor Series '96. We go into the brief history of EMLL becoming CMLL, and the debut of AAA, Aguayo's history with both companies, leaving to form his own promotion, a conversation about Highlander, Aguayo's death, and of course, the story of Luchadorable! We also do commentary on Perro's match at Triplemania XXII against Cibernetico, Dr. Wagner Jr., and Myzteziz in a four way elimination match!

This episode was recorded just shortly after Lemmy Kilmister died (R.I.P), so certain discussions may be a bit out of date, such as our excitement for Wrestle Kingdom 10, where we accidentally say Yoshi-Hashi is doing commentary, instead of Yoshi Tatsu. We were tired and still drunk.
