She has discovered her passion for the sea and the outdoor as a child, growing up in West Cork in Ireland. She has run 72 marathons and numerous ultra marathons as well as the pilgrim’s trails of Ireland. Susan’s constant desire for learning has lead her to degrees, PhDs and MBAs and she has no intention of stopping. Her love for the sea have brought her to a new understanding and appreciation of sea swimming and the importance of “Vitamin Sea” Susan lives in West Cork with her husband John Murray and their 7 children. He has worked as a nurse for the late film director Simon Fitzmaurice and he is currently a live-in nurse with Fr Tony Coote, both affected by Motor Neuron Disease. Adam’s future plans are to work in the area of preventable diseases, such as malaria. Adam is a keen traveler has done some fairly extreme motorbike trips to raise funds and awareness for various charity.
