This episode is bad and I should feel bad

Today I did 2 hours of meditation, read 40 pages of the Bhagavad Gita, did my first Ashtanga yoga class and went to a talk at the Hari Krishna temple.

This is my first full day as a practising yogi and I am pleasantly surprised by how it feels - it's like there's an underlying need that's being fulfilled for the first time in many years.

I feel blessed that I have the opportunity to live the spiritual life and be a writer, avoiding the rat race.

Riding my scooter through the rain on the way from the hatha yoga academy to the bakti yoga temple I was struck by the feeling that it was the happiest day of my life.

Maybe because it has sunk in that I can be a writer and podcaster doing self-experiments for a living.

Via Ram Dass, I discovered Ashtanga yoga and thought it sounds like everything I'm looking for!

Also I decided to start a podcast and call it: SELF-EXPERIMENTATION.

Now I'm going to stay up all night reading the Bhagavad Gita and I will go to the Ashtanga place at 5.30am tomorrow morning!
