Jusminda Velez is a 38 year old wife and mother of two beautiful children and one fur baby. She has been married to the love of her life for 20 years. Her favorite response when people ask about her is “I am just a regular girl from Brooklyn who moved to New Jersey.”

Jusminda’s inspiration to start her home decor and design Instagram page is purchasing her first home. Although friends, family, and followers from her personal Instagram page had encouraged her to start a home decor page for quite some time, she didn’t think people would engage or care about what she was posting. She found herself a little intimidated by other home decor and design pages with significant followers.

Today's podcast is all about batching content, and I'm giving you tips on what this means and how to get started batching content on your social media! Batching content means planning your content ahead of time in order to be ahead of the game. For me, that means batching and planning content 30 days in advance so I can have one month of content ready to go. For instance, since Christmas starts on home decor blogs in November, I will batch my content for two months because it's a crazy time of the year. Minimum - I always try to have my photos, DIYs, captions, reels, and more ready within that 30 day cycle.

WHO IS MARIANA?

"No one is you, and that’s your power!"

Mariana Matari is a 25 year old entrepreneur, mother of 2 and just graduated with her bachelors degree. She was born and raised in Lebanon and moved to Houston, Texas when she was 15 years old to proceed with her education and follow her ambitions. Mariana is the creator of @Decorcraze and is so passionate about interior design and anything related to home decor. It all started two years ago on September 10 when she decided to follow her dreams and inspire people with a goal of helping anyone struggling to create their dream home by following the easiest and simplest touches that will make a huge difference  when it comes to styling. After all, it’s the little things that matter. When she started her page, she didn’t know what the future would hold. Mariana never would’ve never thought that her page would reach 138K two years later! She says she is still fascinated by how many opportunities and how many doors Instagram have opened for her as an influencer. Most of all, Mariana is so grateful for the home decor community that she is a part of. She was welcomed by so many inspiring people as soon as she started sharing her own home and other incredible houses styled by passionate people like herself. Besides, the best part was that she even fascinated herself and did not even know how creative and skilled she really was!  This journey has definitely made Mariana believe in herself more and in her abilities. She never wants to limit herself and will always believe in her vision. Jule has most recently transitioned from a successful photography career, and now spends her time coaching creative entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and people looking to find a fulfilling relationship partner.

WHO IS AMY?

Amy Wilson has been styling homes for over 30 years. After receiving a BFA in Fine Arts from Brigham Young University, Amy created "Amy Wilson Designs" in 1992. Designing and selling a couple hundred thousand products worldwide became her focus through the 90’s as she helped shape the look of the craft industry. Feeling the need to “put it on the shelf,” Amy turned her talents to volunteering and focused on work as a 3-year production director of One Voice Children’s choir, costumed 22 musicals, and enjoyed time being a golf and dance mom. Amy loves the magic of working creatively with others. After raising 5 children to adulthood, Amy now enjoys focusing on Instagram. She enjoys working with companies to showcase their vision with their products in her home. Amy thrives on holiday cheer and shares her love of “home sweet home” on KSL Studio 5 television and through Instagram!

WHO IS JEWEL?

Jewel Marlowe is an interior decorator, blogger, and Instagrammer with an affinity for color, pattern, and unexpected designs. Her unique looks have been featured in HGTV Magazine, Washington Post, Origin Magazine, and many online publications.  She accredits her eclectic and gathered taste to her many moves and travels as a military spouse.  She now lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and their four children who she has ALMOST convinced that constant home construction is a very normal part of life. WHO IS MARCELLA?

Marcella Landreth currently liveS in Ellettsville, Indiana. Her passion for home decor is rooted in her appreciation for showcasing what she loves. Marcella says, "I am older in age, but I don’t let that define my ability to use and grow on Instagram." When starting @therealmlandreth59, one of her goals was to inspire others that age is just a number and you can do anything you set your heart out for at anytime. On her page, she shares not only her home, but thousands of others' homes as well. One of the main things that she loves doing is decorating for Christmas! This passion landed Marcella to be featured on large publications such as HGTV. Being from a small town in Indiana, Marcella thinks it's really cool to see her page reaching thousands of people all across the world. She wants to leave you with one reminder, NEVER let your age, disability, unknowingness or lack of experience hold you back in life from a goal that you have.
