Alina was born in Pakistan and moved to California when she was 2 years old. She spent most of her childhood in CA and then moved to Dubai and lived there for about 10 years! In 2011, she moved to New Jersey and have been there ever since! Alina graduated with a dual degree in International Affairs and International Business with a minor in Arabic from Drexel University. Growing up she always watched her mom decorate their house -making sure it was always tidy as she trained her to pick up after herself while assigning daily chores to me and my siblings. As a child, she loved helping her mom decorate and clean up around the house. Her passion for home decor solidified after graduating from college. She then decided to embark upon @dressyourdecor in an effort to create an outlet for anyone struggling with ideas for home decor and design. Alina strives to inspire vicariously by offering easy and attainable ideas to assist people in turning their house into a beautiful home!

Katalin was born in a very small town in Hungary in 1984  (the same year Hungary separated from the old Soviet Union). She went to college in Eger, Hungary and graduated with 2 degrees - one in Geography and the other in Physical Education. After college, she taught Physical Education in the High School she graduated from for 1 year before coming to America. Since there were no opportunities to have the life she always dreamed of, Katalin left Hungary (and her loving family). The economic situation was very poor.

So, she packed 2 suitcases and brought all the money she had in the world (about $500) and got on the first plane trip of her life! She had dreamed of America forever! Through magazines and movies, Katalin was fascinated with it! For many years, Katalin worked mostly in restaurants and cleaning hotels, but she always dreamed of a job in fashion or design.

She started her home and lifestyle account just about a year ago where she shares her love of pretty things and home projects. Episode #2 -  Tamara Bradshaw is a professional dancer from NYC. She has traveled to over 80 countries dancing for artists including Diddy, Missy Elliot, Gwen Stephani, Sean Paul, and Toni Braxton to name a few. The list goes on! She has taught master classes in many countries, and now owns a Dance Workout called Brukwine. Her class has been featured by many magazines and write ups, including In Shape, Essence Magazine, and The New York Times. Tamara has always had a passion for fashion and Home Decor. After she and her husband moved to Houston 2 years ago, they built their home. This is where her passion really took off! It has now become her second career. Her style is everything glam, but not overdone. Tamara hopes to continue and work towards starting her own decor line.

This is episode #1 and we are going all the way back!  I will share with you my design journey as I highlight all of the people and events that lead me to starting my IG account and diving into becoming an online influencer.
