On this special guest edition of Socially Distant, Weber and Richie welcome their good friends Meaghan and Trevor on to share a fascinating true crime / unsolved mystery case! Aaaaaand we're back! After taking a quick hiatus over Easter weekend, Weber and Richie return to discuss some new updates and future guests as well as potential new creative projects and Coronairus headlines from r/Coronavirus. As always, Richie invites us to The Chuckle Club for some great poetry.
For the 13th episode of the show, Weber and Richie take a look at one of their favorite short films "What Did Jack Do?" by David Lynch. Join our hosts as they discuss the peculiarities of this brain-bender and read some great surrealist poetry!
On this cute quickie of an episode Weber and Richie do some more recap on the Grateful Dead, discuss their plan for Episode 13 and, as always, bring some fantastic poetry to your ears!
What a long strange episode this has been! Recently, Richie has made it his goal to turn Weber into a Deadhead, or at least incubate an appreciation for the group and the history behind them. Well, after years of being completely indifferent to anything related to the Grateful Dead, he finally took the plunge and watched the Amazon Prime Docuseries "Long Strange Trip". While this episode is mainly a discussion between Weber and Richie about the series and the Dead - it's still a fun one! Richie also reads not one, not two, but THREE poems!!!
We got some cool stuff in store for you today! Weber and Richie return to their roots with some Current COVID news and then discuss Tiger King, film, and Edward Norton. Plus, poetry readings by Richie AND Weber!
Join Weber and Richie for another fascinating dive into the depths of insanity. On this episode we have some shout-outs, questions about hairless cats and sandwich slang, poetry, and a quick #RichieRant.
Oooooh it's a long one! While Alex and Richie don't cover a lot of COVID-19 in this episode, there is still much more fun to be had! Plus - another poetry reading by Richie!
We really have something special for y'all this episode! Learn how COVID-19 has officially gone for the throat as Weber shares his experience in getting furloughed at work (which potentially inspired him to create a COVID-19 Mii in Smash to beat the living tar out of it.) Weber and Richie cover everything from 80/20 beef to the bizarre reality that is Tiger King. Hell, Richie even does an impromptu poetry reading!
