On #makeyourownsnowflake day I brought to mind the old thing we all learnt in school. No two snow flakes are alike, and this is something I get asked a lot about in the terms of social media content...does everything I put out need to be different. No matter what any so called content expert tells you.....NO it doesn't have to all be different. I'm not suggesting you can post the same thing day in and day out, that would be tedious and dull for your audience, however, if you posted something a few months ago and it's become relevant again, then is it so bad to make this content work again for you.....of course it's not. We don't all have teams of people creating content for us day in and day out.

A lot of businesses I've worked with in 2020 have come to me and @PerceptionStudiosUK for the simple reason that they just don't have the in house skill to create content and run their social media channels. So, after a year of giving solid value I want you to consider this about your business. How often do you wish you'd posted something on multiple channels but just didn't even get around to doing it once......I understand budgets aren't always there for this kind of thing, but sometimes, just sometimes, you have to step to one side and pay the cash to get the results you'd really like from your social media content.

So, tier 4 frankly sucks ass doesn't it. So many brands and businesses are going to struggle through the next few weeks and horrendously, some won't make it through to the other side. What you can do though if you're in a position where you're unable to sell is make sure people are still talking about you on the other side of all this crap. How do you do that, you make sure you're planning your content so your brain doesn't shift into, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TALK ABOUT mode before 2021 hits. Plan your first three months content, it sounds a lot of work, but, what else will you be doing with your time over the next couple of weeks.

So many brands and businesses do a lot of good through their CSR Projects, but, how many of them actually use that information to encourage more spend with their brand and business? The number is shockingly low, yet, we all know people buy on emotions, so why wouldn't you tell more people about what you're doing, you'd make more money and in the process help more people, surely that's a good thing.....RIGHT????
