I've actually seen people selling this information, so of course i had to dive in on a daily live video and give it away for free. How do you get guests on your podcast, well simply put you ask them, but, there are a few things you can do to help the situation out a bit.

1. Build your initial guest list from friends and business connections, even old clients.

2. Leverage people you have—or are about to—interview.

3. Attend networking events.

4. Find authors of upcoming books on Amazon, check out the free section.

5. Search iTunes for related podcasts in your industry.

6. Find blogs in your industry.

7. Try and make a connection or get noticed by them on social media.....shock horror, be social on social media.

8. Use a podcast guest service. 

9. Make the benefits of being on your podcast obvious for bigger potential guests.

There are so many scam artists out on social media who'll happily take your 1000's of £'s to go on their convoluted course offering nothing you couldn't learn online with some good google searches and some free content. On the flip side too, there's also people who will happily help with their expertise and charge for that, you have to do your research so you know you're speaking to the right person and not someone who'll happily keep fleecing you while you're happy to pay.
