We are sooooo sorry, but we are back. It's been one hell of a year and it has kicked us in the butt, BUT you are important to us and we enjoy sharing our woes with you, so you can look forward to hearing from us more often going forward.

Us ranting... again. This time about remote learning and how much it isn't working.

Welcome to Season 2! Online learning, technology issues, and helicopter parents from hell are back. Join us to hear all about it.

This week we discuss the ups and downs of the effectiveness of summer and how it is used. We will also talk about some of the new policies that are being discussed about what the next school year looks like.

The end of the school year brings a new set of challenges and concerns not present during the rest of the year. This year, due to COVID-19, there are many procedures that are very different during this time of year. We will discuss how things are different from usual this year, as well as touch on possible future problems should COVID-19 continue to affect the nation as it has these past few months, and what that means for schools next year.

We are going through some weird times right now, and as teachers we are facing an unprecedented situation in regards to education. Here we touch on some of the issues and concerns we have going forward.

So sorry we have been away for a few weeks, but we are back. Today we are moving away from our various rants and looking to share some of our success stories with you about students that have touched our hearts and shown us that we have made a difference in their lives. 

In our world today, science and technology define the future. We encourage our students to become excited and pursue careers in STEM fields, and yet we fail to realize that these careers have extensive schooling. That education requires extremely high reading comprehension levels, which students today do not possess and refuse to learn.

We all know them... those people who have their sticky fingers in every pot just because they feel the need to be in control. Cliques exist in every community and workplace, but often are more extreme and recognizable in schools. However, due to how we should be setting an example for our students, there is probably not a more inappropriate place for cliques to form.
