Another podcast episode recorded while I was driving, today talking about how often I have wondered why people are gratuitously mean toward other humans... to be or not to be a dick, that is the question. An easy one, if you ask me. Deploy kindness in your interactions, be nice to people, wether they're strangers or close to you, and do your best to be a decent human. Today's episode is all about that. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
How often have you witness wrong things in your life, injustice or laws that create segregation? Often, I suppose. That's the question I ask you today: just because something is allowed, would you still do it knowing it's not right? Most people would say NO. NEVER. But that's not what we see in Palestine for more than 70 years now... will you keep being silent? Or will you stand for human rights and human beings? As I use to say, you always have a choice. Always. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
Last week it was May the 4th, Star Wars Day, so fans of the saga celebrated around the world what brings them together. The next day, Revenge of the 5th happened. It's really interesting to see the necessity to naturally bring balance in a celebratory context. One celebrates the Light Side of the Force. The other day celebrates the Dark Side. Both celebrate Star Wars. This duality is also present in us humans. It's part of our collective heritage. We're just often not aware of it. So in today's episode I share the struggle in these moments of our life and how we can come out of them stronger and deal better whit our emotions when we're feeling down. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
When new elements that start forming a new culture, whether is pop culture or any other, it takes time to be accepted by the masses or become main stream. And when we are living in the present, we often miss the fact that factor was assimilated for a certain period of time to become part of the culture. That's what's happening with videogames. They already are part of the culture, of younger generations day to day life, but older generations still fail to grasp its importance, thus delaying the fact that its already a real thing. I speak about the nuances of the videogames culture and its importance to our culture and evolution in today's episode of the show. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
We often beat ourselves up when it comes to rescheduling something, right? It's like a huge thing that's gonna ruin much of our life. In reality, not much changes, you just it moved forward in your calendar, so it's gonna happen anyway. Just at a different time or day. And that is fine! In today's episode I talk about how we struggle with rescheduling life events, and also how this can be reflected in the world of videogames. Hope you enjoy this one!
