“ I used to work in a Chiropractic office before I opened up my own office and was amazed at how many clients told me they didn’t like getting adjusted and often would feel worse afterward, preferring to only get the massage work.

When I was there I had to be careful not to say anything bad about the doctor in fear of losing my job.

Now I am out on my own and have several of my clients that also still see a Chiropractor for adjustments, which seems to only make their problem worse and undo a lot of the good work I am doing with the soft tissue work.

My question is how do I go about educating my clients to skip the adjustment altogether, without coming across as I am bashing the Chiropractor or trying to give them medical advice since my scope of practice doesn’t allow that?”

We live in a world full of self-proclaimed experts and people who love to give unsolicited advice, especially when it comes to health. A lot of this so-called "advice" on how to be healthy and function better is given by people who have no business talking anything about health as they are sloppy, unfit, and out of shape, making them some of the biggest hypocrites out there!

I used to be one of these hypocrites myself who would lecture people all day long in my clinic about how to get healthy and out of pain, but I was fat, depressed and in pain myself.

In this episode, I share my journey and awakening on the importance of making my health my number one priority and how it got so bad that I almost lost everything, including my practice and life!

This isn't meant to be critical of people who are unhealthy and don't prioritize their health, but more of a wake-up call and lessons to learn from my errors in not focusing on my own!

We live in a society that has less and less connection among people as time goes by. So many people are struggling emotionally with all the weight of life and pressures.

It’s even worse when someone is injured and in pain, getting jerked around by the medical system and never feeling like they are heard or that the provider gives a damn about helping them.

We often get stuck in the trap of feeling sorry for someone, better known as sympathy for them, instead of understanding what they are going through, which is empathy.

Getting to work with and treating some of the greatest pro athletes in the world was one of my proudest accomplishments so far in my career, but it also came with a lot of headaches and frustrations.

There are many awesome things that come with working with pro athletes and teams, but sometimes chasing after that dream comes with a complicated process, many roadblocks and not having it be the “dream” we hoped it would be.

This episode was inspired by a fellow practitioner asking me about my experiences working with the pros, how to get your foot in the door, and how much it benefited my personal practice.

Yes, there were many positives that came from it all, but all the negatives left me with a different outlook on the whole notion of working with pro athletes.

Nothing gets people’s bullshit detectors higher than when I say that I created a system that will allow you to cut your treatment times by at least 50 percent, all while doubling your income.

I get lots of pushback that there must be some trick or gimmick, or it must be unethical…

Those who even consider it possible soon come up with a million reasons why it would never work for them and that they don't even care about money and just want to make their treatments affordable for everyone…

Which is just a code word for them saying they are scared to charge accordingly and get exactly the worth of the value they are providing in their treatments.

Most providers think it's a scary and big deal when they raise their price by 5 or 10 bucks…

In this episode, I share how the next level you can go in your practice when you double your prices, doing 50 percent less work, all while having your clients happily invest in the treatment.

I also shed some light on what happens when your prices are too low, the power that happens when you double them, and how to implement this into your practice with relative ease!

It took many years of endless seminars, lots of certifications, and deflating my ego to learn that nobody cares what technique or treatment I used to fix their problem, or even how I went about fixing it, they just cared that I could fix it!

In this episode, I share my journey in thinking I needed to market and sell myself under a specific brand and technique to be better recognized, but what set me apart was focusing on being my unique brand that fixed injuries other providers couldn’t!

Nothing is worse than dealing with a client who is a know-it-all and tells you what, where, and how to treat! I have had numerous experiences with these annoying clients and had a recent run-in with one and wanted to share some insights learned on why this happens, how to handle it when it happens, and most importantly how to keep it from happening and pissing you off!
