Reflecting on 2 years of active duty, living in AZ, and generally being wonderfully happy. Alternate title: "Icing on the Cake..." :) Soh grateful.
May 31, 2025 - my 24th birthday! Some of my thoughts and many mixed feelings as I "level up" one more year :)
Sometimes our "normal"s today are what we could only dream of yesterday, and will only be able to look back on tomorrow... SOH: here's to embracing the mundane. :)
Recorded 2.6.25
Coming to you from my car, here is a lo-fi reflection on my (kind of) new job I started a few weeks ago. The main takeaway is how nice is it to have experience - it makes all the difference! Done in one take... if you can believe it. :0
In this episode I discuss how I've never fit in with people my age, and instead very contentedly have the old soul/lifestyle of a senior citizen. Does that make me wise beyond my years, or just a loser??? Who knows... and Soh it goes. :)
Welcoming 2025 with Episode 100!!!
Today I look back on my Top 5 favorite episodes so far, and also (on a more sad note) discuss possibly 'breaking up' with the podcast. But that conversation is to be continued. Things just change sometimes. Soh it goes...
Happy New Year :)
Everything about my life is so different today than it was a year ago-- and all for the better.
Thus I present to you: "Time Heals", Round 2! (As it turns out, I've used this episode title before, way back when I first started the podcast :))
I wonder if you can relate. Enjoy! And hang in there because "this too shall pass..."
I love my job... should I quit?
Trying to find the balance between staying in a secure job vs leaving in pursuit of a "dream job"... does that even really exist, though?!

Lyrics to Risk This? (the original song I played at the end of the episode):
I’m terrified
All I know
And I simultaneously
Come on at your own pace, darling
And time machines, if they existed,
We are back in session! In this episode I gush about how truly happy I am these days... and how bad I feel about that. Doesn't happiness feel like a guilty pleasure sometimes???
Thanks for listening.
Cliche, but perhaps for a reason-- "never say never!" Sometimes time & effort are the only things standing between us and the things we never thought we could be, do, or accomplish. Who knows?... surprise yourself. :)
