Blockers was not the movie we expected it to be. Not only was it funny, but poignant as well. Everyone in this movie was hilarious and well-used, our old faves shined, and some new faves were made.

It shouldn't surprise you that we were initially cold on the idea of Guardians of the Galaxy. I mean a HARD sci-fi flick with NONE of the other Avengers in it? Come on. However, we were quickly and happily proven wrong.

You don't have to love Jesus to love Jesus Christ Superstar. The 1973 version is a wild, seemingly drug-fueled romp through the desert, which if you take Jesus out of it, sounds like a lot of movies made around that time.

As a special treat for listeners, we ACTUALLY managed to stay on topic for 90 whole minutes this episode! There my be a little tangent here, a small rant there, but we did good, if we do say so ourselves. Today's episode is Captain America, the hero we need, deserve, and the gay icon we love.

Santa Clarita Diet is without a doubt one of the best comedies available right now. It's funny, smart, heartwarming, refreshing, everything you would want in a TV show. It just so happens to be about a woman who is undead and has to survive by eating human remains. NBD. We LOVE this show and season 2 was no exception.

Look, fair warning. This episode gets a little heavy. But we're cool, right? We're still cool even though we have feelings, yeah? If not, so be it. Here come the emotions anyway! Today we chat about Love, Simon, but also about several other gay topics out there in the verse. We start by talking about how untactful reporters accidentally outed Lee Pace, one of our many faves. Then Wil compares his own life to the film, breaking down his very similar situation which he went through in high school. Was the outcome good? Yeah sure, but it should always be a choice.

This year's Oscars had it's ups and down like any year, but the ceremony itself was pretty enjoyable. They brought back montages, Jimmy Kimmel was pretty funny, and no one movie ran away with everything. But that also means a lot of things we wanted to see win, did not. Oh well. Our main story this episode is Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle In Time! It was a big, bold take on the children's novel, and while it doesn't exactly hit on everything, it hits enough to be enjoyable. Someone said that if you go into this movie with an open heart you will enjoy it, and that certainly holds true.
