Whether we like it or not, we live our lives by law. We constantly work to do better and avoid the consequences of our failures. In a culture where we're constantly being graded, evaluated and judged, it's difficult for us to understand what this means for our relationship with God. This first sermon in our Covenant Keeper series helps us begin to wrap our minds around the Old Covenant and how God's people related to Him in the Old Testament.

Many of us live our lives with a low grade sense of guilt. An inner voice constantly accuses us saying, "You're not good enough and you should do better!" God's grace is enough, and we can trust in Him.

We can't avoid relational conflict. Our relational goal should not be winning or perfection; our relational goal should be quickness to forgive and humility. In 2 Corinthians, we find Paul displaying humility and a quickness to forgive, and it's because he knew how quick God was to forgive him. Knowing God's forgiveness allows us to do the same.
