He is risen! This is the traditional greeting Christians give one another on Easter Sunday, both a reminder and a celebration of the fact that Jesus was crucified, buried and rose on the third day so that we would be reconciled to the living God. Join us today as Pastor Kevin looks at the implications of the resurrection to us today.
He is risen indeed!
Scripture: Luke 24:1-12
Join us as we remember the Friday when Jesus paid the ultimate price so that we could be reconciled to God. Kevin will preach on this event with a homily titled "The Darkness and the Veil."
Join us as Pastor Kevin takes us through a difficult passage—the crucifixion of Jesus. In Luke’s recounting of events, he directs our attention to those who stood by and responded to the single most important event in history with a variety of reactions. Today, the question is simply this: which of these voices sounds most like you?
Scripture: Luke 23:26-43
Join us as Pastor Jonathan looks at how Jesus modeled for us the ways of the kingdom of God through his own willing submission to God’s will…even in his suffering.
Scripture: Luke 22:63 – 23:25
Join us as Pastor Jonathan as he takes an interesting off-ramp on the road to Easter Sunday, and it’s Peter’s experience as Jesus’ crucifixion is orchestrated and draws near. It’s an amazing story of weakness and grace.
Scripture: Luke 22:31-62
Join us as Pastor Kevin looks at an event we know as The Last Supper, saying words we hear each week before we take communion.
Scripture: Luke 22:14-27
Join us as Pastor Kevin looks at the last public teaching of Jesus, not long before he was crucified, and what it tells us about living faithfully in uncertain times.
Scripture: Luke 21:5-28
Join us as Pastor Moe continues our series on the Gospel of Luke by looking at a warning from Jesus and what it means to us today.
Scripture: Luke 20:45 – 21:4
Join us as Pastor Jonathan looks at a passage that is like a stained-glass window, with many scenes and references. At its heart, though, is our need for wisdom in a world of complexity.
Scripture: Luke 20:19-44
Join us as Pastor Kevin explores the subject of bad religion – that is, the perversion of the gospel – and looks at Luke 19 and 20 to see an invitation to turn to Jesus, the one true temple where we can go to experience the true goodness of God.
Scripture: Luke 19:45-48
Pastor: Kevin Jamison
