In our weekly roundtable, we turn our attention to U.S. foreign policy. President Obama visited Saudi Arabia and the U.K. this week; the US is sending combat troops to Iraq; and international protesters are fighting the war on drugs.

Our roundtable also weighs in on the latest from the U.S. presidential race. Hillary faces a generational divide with Black voters in Philadelphia, where she tried to talk race with a crowd, but was shut down for a half hour by Black Lives Matter protesters. Media pundits and Democratic Party loyalists worry about bringing together the party as Sanders and Clinton camps divide further. Many have implied - or said outright that - that Sanders should withdraw from the race, bringing his supporters along, to join the Democratic mainstream. But Bernie supporters, especially millennials of all races, are telling Bernie to press on.

Today, we discuss Bernie Sanders and the Black vote. LaDawn Blackett Jones, a member of the African American outreach team for Bernie Sanders and a Democrat in the Georgia House of Representatives, joins us in studio.

In the lead-up to Earth Day, for our weekly "Earth Watch," we speak to Adam Macon, Director of the Dogwood Alliance. We talk about his work to protect Southern U.S. forests and communities.

We also bring you an update on Haiti. The Haiti grassroots resist pressure from the U.S. State Department to yet again force a U.S.-selected president on the people of Haiti. We speak with activist Pierre Labossiere of the Haiti Action Committee.

Hillary Clinton stopped Bernie Sanders' winning streak in the New York primary yesterday. As of this morning's count, she won 57.9 percent, and Sanders took 42.1 percent. Sanders had a strong hold on the millennial vote, but Hillary won the majority of Black and Latino voters.

But: there is controversy with calls of voter disenfranchisement for over 125,000 New Yorkers and continued frustration that New York State rules do not allow Independents to vote.

We speak to three New York based guests: Jim Naureckas, an editor at Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting; Alice Slater of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation; Michael Gould-Wartofsky, author of The Occupiers: The Making of the 99 Percent Movement." Also, Mexico City based Laura Carlsen speaks to us from New York City, as well as New Jersey based Junius Williams, an author and attorney named by Ebony Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential Blacks in America.

New York's presidential primary is today, and the stakes could not be higher on the Democratic side. For the GOP, Donald Trump is a likely shoo in; polls show miles ahead of his Republican competitors. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton is leading Bernie Sanders in the polls in double digits, but Sanders is bring out the big crowds. Over 28,000 gathered at a rally in Brooklyn on Sunday, and last night, almost as many united in Queens.

The stakes also high for the Supreme Court as they take up a challenge to President Obama s executive orders on immigration. Our guest is Apolonio Morales, Political Director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.

Also, journalist Mark Weisbrot returns to "Sojourner Truth" to discuss the latest moves to remove Dilma Rousseff as the President of Brazil.

The Bernie-Hillary presidential debate is being referred to as the "Brooklyn Brawl." The debate came at a critical time with the New York primary just days away and polls showing Hillary ahead of Bernie by double digits. But with Bernie cutting into what was Hillary s huge lead in the state, and with Bernie drawing huge crowds in contrast to Hillary, could Tuesday bring us a Sanders upset victory?

Robert Parry joins us to discuss increasing concerns about Hillary s hawkish views on foreign policy.

And: today is Equal Pay Day in the United States, but the wage gap between women and men still persists. Black women, Latino women and mothers fare the worst in the wage divide. Our guest is Rachel Lyons with the National Partnership for Women & Families.

Today, we remember Dr. King, who had recently come out against the Vietnam war and was increasingly militant in campaigning not only for racial but also for economic justice.

We also discuss the influence of and differences between the movements of Dr. King s Civil Rights era with the movements of Black youth today. Our guest is Rashad Robinson, Executive Director of ColorOfChange.
