How has the mainstream media fared on the Democratic side? FAIR reports that the Washington Post, for example, ran 16 negative stories on Sanders in 16 hours. Our guest is FAIR's "Extra!" editor, Jim Naureckas.

In Los Angeles, 200 Black women are missing, and at least 100 are likely victims of serial murders. Some of those murders have been dubbed by the media "the Grim Sleeper murders," and a trial is now underway after a suspect was taken into custody over five years ago. But many more nationally remain missing and are presumed dead. Michigan State University Assistant Professor Terrion Williamson has been tracking the serial murders of Black women across the United States. Her count: 500 women. How have law enforcement and communities responded?

And for our weekly Earth Watch: we discuss the assassination of Honduran environmental and human rights activist Berta Cáceres. Our guest is Jeff Conant, ecological justice advocate and a senior campaigner for Friends of the Earth.
