There will always be a reason for us to procrastinate on fasting, but is there a right time? Yes, we should fast when we are looking for break through in our life. When we are looking for an answer from God on direction. When we face a desperate situation. When we want to draw closer to Him. Any time is a good time to fast, so what is stopping us?

There is a difference between book knowledge and knowing the author. When we have a deep and intimate relationship with the Lord we begin to view our situations with a new a more Godly perspective. Knowing the bible is critical, but don't stop there. It's good to know the Author!

So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. - Galatians 6:9

Everyone faces discouragement from time to time. But when we face though situations we need to remember to not look down, but up! God does not cause all of the painful situations that we face, sin and living in broken world cause those. But He can fix any situation you face.

Many times have we sacrificed our dreams because we stopped listening to the voice of God on our journey. Do you want to get connected/reconnected to the "best friend" you will ever have?

Just as an illusionist will try to distract you to perform his illusion, so to will the devil distract the Christian to get his/her focus off God. So how do we keep our eye on the Lord and not on our situation?
