Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character - 1 Corinthians 15:33 AMP You can tell a lot about a person simply by who they hang around with. When walking out your faith, it shows wisdom to choice who you associate with carefully. So what do your friendships say about you?

God is wanting to put His People on display. While the world is sinking into the darkness of sin, this creates an opportunity for the Church to shine the Lords light and love even brighter. God has a purpose for everyone in the body, no matter the age, as Christians we need to be on display for the world.

The Kingdom of God runs much differently from the kingdoms of the world. Our feelings and even our 5 senses can misled us if it is not balanced with Godly wisdom. But if we try to walk our walk with God but without direction from our bibles, then we will end up following the world ways instead of God's way. So how can the bible guide us?

The greatest sermon you will ever preach is your life. When we face pressure in life, we need to remember as Christians that the greater the pressure, the greater the calling of God we have on our lives. To be a Godly influence we need to have a spirit of excellence and we need to be consistently serving God.

Christians are not exempt from suffering. The Good News is that when we face these valleys in our lives we can have peace knowing that we don't face them alone, we have Jesus! And as we walk our our faith and overcome trails through the Blood of the Lamb, God can use us to help others who are facing similar trials. Remember, safety is not in the absent of danger, it is being in the presence of the Lord!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Proverbs 1:7 NLT Why should I fear the Lord? How does fearing the Lord bring wisdom? Fearing the Lord opens our hearts to follow and obey Him. You can not know God in a deep and personal way and not do what He says. Our relationship with God as our Father is important to Him, but it should not be a frivolous one, but one based on a love and respect for our Heavenly Father.

For some people sharing their faith just seems natural and easy. For others though it might be more of a struggle to express their love of the Lord. The Good New is that it doesn't have to be! Sharing our faith should come naturally from "who we are" not forced by how someone else might present the Gospel. The most important thing is that we do share, it can be life changing!

Have you ever tried to climb the rope ladder at a carnival? It looks easy but one small misstep and you can find yourself back on the ground. 2 Peter 1:1-11 gives Christians a ladder to climb. Even though we might slip a couple of times on the rungs of this ladder, if we continue to strive and continue to climb the prize awaiting us is much more valuable than any earthly prize we could ever receive.

Safety is not the absence of danger, it is the presence of the Lord. In our blood we have antitoxins and antibodies that protect us. Likewise, when a person accepts Christ we have the protection through a covenant relationship with the Lord. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. - Leviticus 17:11 NKJV

Sometimes the biggest trap we can fall into is success. If we start reveling in our victors and take our eyes off the Lord we are in grave danger. The bible is full of leaders who let success go to heads, but a healthy fear of the Lord save us from self inflected hardships.
