Ever find yourself in a rut? Sometimes when we are in a rut we can go through the motions. When Joshua lead the army against Jericho, God command them to walk around the town for 7 days. Sometimes it might seem like they were not making progress, but when they stayed aligned to God's plan, after 7 days the walls suddenly fell. Stay focused on God's plan and your victor might be closer than you can imagine.

With the knowledge of God's Word and the importance of keeping our word, the question remains "Is Your Word Good"? Be careful of the agreements you enter into, don't let your mouth write checks your integrity can't cash. So how do we as Christians know that we are being lead by the Holy Spirit and not by our feelings?

Holy Spirit is a gentleman, he doesn't force the His gifts on us. We have to ask God for the gifts of the Holy spirit. The bible tells us to earnestly seek after these gifts. There are 3 gifts that come with revelation, wisdom, knowledge and the discerning of spirits. What are these gifts and how are they used?

Safety is not in the absence of danger; it is in the presences of the Lord. As Christians we know what to say, but what do we do when the furnace is heated up 7 times hotter.. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego knew they could trust God regardless of their circumstances. As born again Christians we have the rivers of the Holy Spirit following through us that can overcome an ocean of adversity. Fight the good fight of faith!

Jesus commanded His disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. The reason for this power was so that they could be effective witnesses,their message wasn't to be just a lot of talk, but was actually to be accompanied by attesting signs and wonders, attesting to the fact that the message being spoken was true. Each of us need to understand that the Holy Spirit wants to testify to the truth through us, and in order for that to take place, we need to first believe that He desires to operate through each us in power.

God's Word tells us that we can have His peace and most of what we worry about never happens. Yet, if we let the devil distract us with worry it can cause us to lose our peace. But when we face storms we need to praise Jesus all the more. As long as we have Jesus in our boat we will make it to the other side!

Do you know who you are? Do you know who the bible claims you are? Once you have accepted Jesus as Lord this is your identity: 1) Son/Daughter, 2) Citizen of Heaven, 3) Ambassador for the Kingdom of God. Are you ready to go higher with God?

Speaking in tongues in found throughout the books of Acts. The Apostle Paul also make reference to it in some of his letters to the saints. But is the gift of tongues a gift that no longer is present for today's church or is this gift available for believers today?

We can love many things including money, job titles, our homes and ourselves to name a few but can we love people the way that God does? Jesus told us the two greatest commandments were loving God and loving others, but many times we let "other things" interfere or replace Godly relationships, but when God's church comes together in unity and obedience, amazing things can happen!

Life is full of directions and some we follow and some we don't or won't or shouldn't! But the truth is that everyone needs directions to live a fruitful and productive life. The good news is it's all contained in the Word of God! But will we read the manual for life or will we try to do it all on our own?
