The Reproductive Health Act (RHA) was signed on January 22, 2019...the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. This law legalizes abortion in New York throughout all nine months of pregnancy, even up to dilation. It repeals the safeguard requiring all abortions be performed by a licensed physician. It decriminalizes all state abortion laws, and it removes all rights and protections from the unborn by defining a “person” as “a human being who has been born and is alive.”

Reading from John 14:15

How does one find their place of service and ministry within their church? Well, apart from the body, you cannot fully know God’s will for your relationship to the body. Without the eye the hand does not know where to touch. Without the ear the rest of the body may not know when or how to respond. So, I need to look and listen to see where there might be a need within my church. Now, the need does not constitute a call. The need, however, should not to be ignored.

God calls us to love each other so much that when one of us stumbles and falls… we all turn back to help them up. And we link arms and walk together toward the gates of heaven. And when we do that - all of heaven stands and cheers for what seems like forever.

Lord willing, we’ll have wonderful ministry opportunities here at Solid Rock Church in 2019. We’ll have the strength and experience from God to lead people to the Lord and make disciples of them. We will need God’s wisdom. We will need His strength and His grace. But as the huge doors of opportunity are opened to us... it will require heart, and work, and sacrifice... everything we have... but it will be worth it all I plan to press toward the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus!
