We are hurting along with everyone else around the world right now...this is not an isolated crisis, it is a world crisis. But we have everything that we need. God’s supply is complete and not only enough for us, but an overflow for a world around us that is sad, depressed, afraid and worried. We have been commissioned by God to be His servants and to serve those around us...to be God’s heart and God’s hands.

Faced with the challenge of the Coronavirus, our congregation must remain encouraged and continue being the body of Christ apart from our church building, and be wise but not afraid!

How can we know God’s voice? How can we know it is not the voice of the enemy? We have to learn to listen to the real thing. Study His word. Pray. Get still before God and listen for His voice. God doesn’t want to hide himself from us. He doesn’t want to hide his will from us or make it difficult for us to understand. We can learn to discern the voice of the Shepherd.

Some are better at hearing God's voice than others. Some are further along in the development of acquiring an “ear for the Lord.” But developing that relationship with God so that we can hear Him more clearly often represents a huge challenge; learning to listen to God is not as simple as we’d like it to be.

When I use the term “The Voice”, I want to add emphasis to the word, “The”! During our lifespan, we will hear many voices... but I want to hear, The Voice! Of course, The Voice is God’s voice... and of course... God does speak today as He has always spoken.
