Serious crimes in Port St. John were very rare, but on January 6th, 1999, a crime sent shockwaves throughout the close-knit community. Frieda LeBouf was at home when she heard a frantic knock on her front door. She opened the door to find her neighbour’s two young children, who exclaimed that a tragic accident had happened at the family home…
