Hey there! YaY we’ve made it through the week Plus Lew and I haven’t broken the show yet (shhh don’t tell Tom unless it is in that hate mail he’s always wanting hehe)! Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the rest of the world. Lew Hastings fills in hosting for Tom while he’s off to Detroit while he gets me, Jules K. Frazier, producing and cajoling in the background.

Lew hands the show over to me for an update and a run down of the chemical spill that occurred in Atchison,Kansas this morning sending  just over 100 to the hospital. Lew continues covering breaking news bringing information, the little there is,a break in the Sunoco Logistics pipeline in Pennsylvania, just a few counties from where he lives. Plus News about some heavily trafficked website being unavailable for many people in the northeast through the midwest due to a cyber attack. Dny, a DNS host, was flooded by traffic causing an overload of the system and an inability to service many clients such as Twitter, CNN, Etsy, GitHub, SoundCloud and others.We also spend some time discussing what we would do without the tech that we do today.

Moving into the  second hour we do a brief follow-up on the ‘final showdown’ of the debates with some final thoughts and more minute details about the ’theater’ of the debate. Plus a bit of fact checking about what the candidates say during the debates and their rallies. To finish the evening we give you some of the attempted laughs given by Clinton and Trump from the Al Smith Dinner

We did manage to discuss a bit of the debate but we seem to keep finding ways to avoid it. Jeff Waldorf from Around The Nation calls in and keeps the conversational vector aimed at the best shows to geek out to as we finish up a final few clips from the final presidential debate.

Tonight on Some Say Tom spends a bit of time talking about his birthday and his plans as well as passes on some thank yous for those who’ve helped him get through the last few weeks. He also discusses what’s happening the rest of the week. Plus Jules K. Frazier takes her hand at being producer for the night in a strange role reversal scenario in preparation for Tom’s big trip to Detroit for this birthday weekend

Tom tears into the religious right wing as they praise the Donald for his power in God. Then Tom and Jules discuss some interesting billboards popping up in Detroit that Trump can’t read. Plus some talk of Howard Stern’s part in the ‘rise of Trump”.

Lew joins the crew as they chat about birthday plans with Lew and Jules behind the wheel for post-debate coverage on Thursday and Friday since we will be streaming coverage live via Democracy Live. Tom brings us an update that the  racist mayor in Pennsylvania, Charles Wasko which segues into a rather in-depth conversation about the racist and genocidal actions of Andrew Jackson.  To wrap up the show-up Nickie calls in for a final round of happy birthday love for Tom.

I’ll be taking at least the first 15 minutes to talk about the North Carolina fire bombing at the GOP.  You are being lied to if you’re being told if  they think Dr. Stein will win.  The poll numbers don’t lie & no 1 really knows who will win, they only hope they know.  Being a reporter shouldn’t be a crime & what they are doing to Amy Goodman should be a warning about where we are in America.If Gov. Pence doesn’t get FLOTUS’s speech about Mr. Trump,  how do we even begin to get to middle ground?
