We've survived a full year of the podcast, and we're shaking things up with... another three game ideas! Matt has a magical experience and then takes to the skies (not related), Daanish also likes magic and wants to learn tricks in VR, and Jeff wants Pistol Whip with no guns, but gets something else.

One full year of Someone Should Make This. Who thought it could happen? Not our hosts, that's for sure. The crew, along with new rotating semi-regular co-host Dan Weiland, allows themselves a little self-indulgence as they look back at the year and reminisce on their most memorable game ideas, discuss listener favorites, games that actually got made, and of course, what Someone Should Make This Anniversary would be complete without an Adkins Report.

In this very special episode, the great (but not special) Dan Weiland joins us again from Netherrealm Studios. We take a deep-dive into Dreams, then Matt has an out-of-body experience, Dan wants to pulls the strings, and Daanish drops a Haunt Bomb. This week, the gang goes back to the StrandWell(tm), the bottomless gift of stupid/genius ideas that is Death Stranding, to form a surprise sequel to the much beloved N64 classic Blast Corps. Daanish and Matt also talk about Audica for an hour and 45 minutes.

Matt and Daanish make a foolish purchase and in completely unrelated news, Matt Daanish and Jeff pitch a Baby Yoda Game. Also Daanish wants a game that players of all skill levels can enjoy and Matt wants to get scared with friends.

This week the gang laments the lack of weird sequels to hit games. Games like Mario Brothers 2, Adventure of Link, Simon's Quest. Rarely do sequels really take a chance anymore, but not if the SSMT crew have anything to say about it!

In this special episode, we tackle peripherals. All it takes is two words: Punch Power.

Matt puts the Battle in Battle Royale, Jeff goes inter-dimensional, and Daanish firmly believes that Corporations are good and have the best interests of their customers at heart.
