Something Close to Genius

Dan has a new mic (well, he's actually using a mic full stop which is more that can be said about the previous episodes). In this far shorter pod, we end thr current series and talk about how time is far more productive when one steps away from social media... 

A rather weary and lacklustre Dan manages to talk for an hour on how gruelling and downright joyless Legoland Windsor is when visited during a heatwave in August with two young children. Advice is given on how to avoid expensive tourist attractions by finding hidden gems. Also, some thoughts on the current test cricket series between England and India. He will be back with higher levels of energy and optimism later this month... 

Dan manages to squeeze in a love letter to the glorious city of Bath, having mellowed considerably in the few days spent at a magnificent hotel in the heart of the Georgian City. We should bring back the art of the public curse and Bath Rugby Club should avoid building a horrible modern stadium - keep things as they are! Seagulls, however, are still complete twats. 

This week Dan discuses what happens when you happen to question somebody else's viewpoint on Twitter... especially if that person happens to be a sanctimonious dullard with an army of obsequious drones... he also doesn't want to share cricket with anyone
