God is always up to something good. And sometimes, He’s up to something new. Well, Jeremiah was called by God to be a prophet to the Jewish people at the age of twenty-one. He was tough, yet tender. Some have even called him the “weeping prophet.” Part of his message to Israel was that God would one day do a brand new thing for His chosen people. Ron takes us to the book of Jeremiah next, as he moves ahead in his teaching series, “The Ultimate Road Trip Through The Bible: The Major Prophets.”
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed”. With those words, the prophet Isaiah showed us our deep need for salvation … and spoke of the only Person, Jesus Christ, who could give it to us. Ron explores two key ideas from Isaiah today, the depavity of man, and the deliverance of man, as he continues his teaching series, “The Ultimate Road Trip Through The Bible: The Major Prophets.”
Today, Ron explores the book of Isaiah, the first of the Major Prophets of the Old Testament, and the first book in Road Trip Number Four of his teaching series, “The Ultimate Road Trip Through The Bible: The Major Prophets.” Pay close attention today. As Ron will tell you in just a few moments, if you master the book of Isaiah, you will understand the heart of God and the heart of His prophetic message.
If you were with us yesterday, you may remember that Ron began sharing a list of things that can help married couples stay together for a lifetime. He got about halfway through these critical steps, taken from the Song of Solomon chapter eight, before we ran out of time. Today, Ron picks up right where he left off, as he closes out his teaching series, “The Secrets of a Satisfying Marriage: Relationship Wisdom from the Song of Solomon
Today, we come to the final message in Ron’s teaching series, “The Secrets of a Satisfying Marriage: Relationship Wisdom From The Song of Solomon.” It’s a two-part message, so we’ll wrap it up on our next broadcast.
As married couples enter their later years, the passion can sometimes get lost. But it doesn’t have to. Ron says there are ten qualities of a vintage marriage, and he shares them with you next, as he moves ahead in his teaching series, “The Secrets of a Satisfying Marriage: Relationship Wisdom from the Song of Solomon.”

It takes a little work to get the job done. But as you’ll soon find out, it’s not nearly as difficult as you might think.
There’s just no getting around it. If you’re married, you will have conflict. But one of the ways to turn these valleys into victories is to remember why you married one another in the first place. Today, Ron takes a deep dive into the subject of conflict resolution as he moves ahead in his teaching series, “The Secrets of a Satisfying Marriage: Relationship Wisdom from the Song of Solomon.”
If you thought marriage would be a happily ever after, it’s not your fault. Truth is, you’ve been lied to. You’ll find it on the silver screen, in the steamy romance novel, and in society in general, the false notion that the honeymoon will never end. Today, Ron gives you the truth: conflict is not only a normal issue in marriage, but it’s often a necessary one. And when it finds its way into your marriage, there are a few biblical ways to resolve it.
Satan may try to pervert it. But God is the One who created it. Let’s talk about the marriage bed on today’s Something Good with Dr. Ron Jones. Today, Ron takes us to Song of Solomon chapter four to tell us about one of the greatest needs husbands have in their marriage, the need for sexual fulfillment. Believe it or not, the Bible offers some keen insight as to what marital intimacy can and should look like. Ron shares more today as he continues his teaching series, “The Secrets of a Satisfying Marriage: Relationship Wisdom from the Song of Solomon.”
