Something Vaguely Reasonable episodes

  • S10E17: July 17th Show

    On the show this week:

    -Diamonds are for Never

    -Something Vaguely Entertaining

We begin the show with Random Roulette Pretopic:

Shatner tweets, Hades got the short end, neutered monsters, Omen vetrinarians, reaping the whirlwind, and green shoes.

We start with why are Millenials buying diamonds. Turns out, people are broke. We then discussed the concept of bastard children of history.

We then move on from economic doom and crushed carbon crystal to the temporal doom of 12 Monkeys followed by quick capsule review of Ghostbusters.  This is the brief break before then moving on to the pain that was the Evil Brain from Outer Space and Slashed Dreams.

Catch us next time in three weeks for our coverage of A Bucket of Blood and Life Returns. Also, if you see Largo at Comic-Con, say hello.

  • S10E16: July 3rd Show

    On the show this week:

    -Brexit, Sausage, and Eggheads

    -Tylenol: The Everything Medicine

    -Something Vaguely Entertaining

We begin the show with head trauma, National Blow Your Fingers Off Day, Sanguinist's mutant ability, and Largo's social life.

Getting into the topics proper, we talk about the long range consequences of Brexit, how Tylenol can kill more than pain, two episodes of 12 Monkeys, and The Manster and House of the Dead (AKA Alien Zone). Digressions include accidental blowjobs, Iceland's ability to combat carbon emissions, McDonald's touch screen ordering, and a follow-up to Hydra Cap (and Largo's comics buying in general). It's a pretty scattered show, kids.

Join us next time for Evil Brain from Outer Space and Slashed Dreams.

We invite you to join us next time for House of the Dead (AKA Alien Zone) and The Manster.

  • S10E14: June 5th Show

    On the show this week:

    -Something Vaguely Entertaining

We begin this slightly-short show with low-hanging, chocolate-dipped scrotums, nurturing the mind of a proto-human (also known as Toddler Wrestling), and The Rock as Doc Savage.

Getting into the topic proper, we look at two episodes of 12 Monkeys, give capsule reviews of X-Men: Apocalypse and Teenage Mutant NInja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and then dig deep into the pain of Galaxina and Dr. Tarr's Torture Dungeon.

Oh, and we also talk about Captain America being a Nazi.

Join us next time for at least one of the following films: Night of the Blood Beast and/or The Bloody Brood.

  • S10E13: May 22nd Show

    On the show this week:

    -Something Vaguely Entertaining

We begin the show with how The Rock is not guest starring on our show, the special cocktail of scents filling Largo's house and why (and the story of his week from hell), the Spears-to-Carey glitter ratio, which Colonel Sanders has the best disembodied anus. Largo also tells the tale of a good convention in a depressing, abandoned mall.

Getting into the show proper, we review the latest (at the time of recording) episode of 12 Monkeys, the two part season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter.

Join us next time for 1980's Galaxina.
