Our husbands join in on this week’s episode! We—Natalie & Jon, and Alisha & Paul—ask the other couple how they would handle being put in awkward situations. These are all blind-reaction style, so the other couple didn’t know what they were going to be asked beforehand.
And no, these aren’t just the typical questions, but they are fun and out there, guaranteed to make you laugh!

There is some level of satisfaction when you get away with something you know you probably shouldn’t. And no, we’re not talking about anything egregious or against our own—or society’s— moral code. But rather, these are things we tried to get away with and ended up getting caught instead!
You know, like sledding on your roommate’s baking sheets, spilled chili at a chili cook-off party, police responding to a possible bank robbery, cutting siblings’ hair, and so much more!
The result of getting caught was far more embarrassing than any formal punishment.

Do actions come before motivation, or does motivation come before action? Although this question might seem trivial, exploring it could reveal insights into how you approach new tasks and achieve them. It's crucial to understand the source of our internal drive: does motivation arise from tackling tasks and reaching goals, or do you require full motivation before taking action? Natalie and Alisha initially had differing views, but they discover that it's not necessarily a clear-cut "either/or" situation.

Why is it so difficult to make friends as an adult? The very idea of putting yourself out there feels overwhelming as we age, so we'd rather settle in for the night with a nice show on Netflix.
Wouldn't it be nice to revert back to the ease of childhood friendships? Your mom sets up a playdate and wham! You have a friend! Or your teacher assigns you to a certain table and boom! New friends!
Adults don't always have that luxury, so we explore why that is and what to do about it so we're not alone in the world.

Whether it's your best friend or a "Karen," you've encountered someone whose viewpoint is different than your own. It's natural. And it's normal. But what sets each situation apart is how you respond to these differences.
In this episode, we discuss ways to navigate differences in relationships that we value and cherish—because, ultimately, we want to make sure the friendships remain intact.
We have some pretty fun and touching examples from our own lives, as well as from other people.

Love notes to boyfriends, terrible college admission essay, date rejection, unrecognized bullies, and more. We read through diary entries that are funny, insightful, painful, and raw. Follow on Instagram to see pictures of our diaries!
Have you ever read through your childhood diary as an adult? It's fun to see how much you've matured, but also amazing how much your childhood directly impacts you as an adult.
We unpack a lot in the episode, and we think you will find yourself feeling a lot of the same emotions we felt as we went through our diaries.
Pro Tip: Reading through your diary can be slightly unpredictable, which is why we advise you be in a healthy, stable mindset, or have a friend with whom you can be vulnerable.

Some advice is meant never to be shared, and there is good reason for that. Either it is unhelpful, rude, or flat out wrong. In this episode, we explore true advice we've received throughout the years. Some we followed and learned it was poor advice; others we knew it was a major no-go from the start.

Money is always a hot topic of debate. Are we here to debate? No. But we are here to sympathize and talk about sage money advice, as well as unsavory advice—we're looking at you, Dave Ramsey.
How are your New Year resolutions coming along? We found an AMAZING Instagram account that gives a daily check-off list to decluttering so you're not scrambling and overwhelmed with what to do next.

Also, what has helped, beyond this sheet, is having a friend that will go along the journey with you. Send each other your before pictures in a space (i.e. your kitchen) and then clean, clean, clean! It will feel extra nice when you send that after picture. You've got this!
Being an adult isn't always easy. In fact, it's fair to say that adulting is HARD! Wouldn't it be nice to have someone else care for us and make all of life's difficult decisions for us?
We're not exactly ranting in this episode, but we're not exactly the most polished and put together, either. Just floating somewhere in between. :)
