The defendant argues he never stole anything because someone broke into his house and took property. He doesn’t think he owes anything.

Plus, The plaintiff and defendant have dated on and off for five years, but the plaintiff says the defendant cheated several times and abused her. She claims the defendant stalks her and assaults her. She also claims he broke into her window and asked for money, but she refused, so he took her cash. She’s suing for stolen money. The defendant is countersuing for defamation of character.
