On this episode of Son of a Librarian, I dive into the captivating novella "A Demon's Gift" by L.S. O'Day. Despite its short length, the book is packed with an engaging story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The worldbuilding aspect is well-balanced, providing enough information to understand the setting without overwhelming the plot. Although some parts of the plot may be predictable, it doesn't diminish the impact of the revealing moments.

"I Was Just A Radioman" ARM H.P. Lawrence The Memoirs of a WW2, Pearl Harbor Survivor by Pamela Ackerson

Obviously this book is set during World War 2 and tells of one mans experience of being at Pearl Harbor on that fateful day, as well as the rest of his time during the war.

I found it to be a mostly enjoyable read, as a historical memoir.

I thought that I would occasionally offer some poetry that I find. Today I read "The Cats Have Come To Tea" by Kate Greenaway.  I found the poem on public-domain-poetry.com

I thought that it was a cute little poem, and since I like cats it was an interesting visual as I read it.
